Administration building Hochtief AG
The office tower is located on a cramped plot in Frankfurt's prestigious Westend district in correspondence with other high-rise buildings. The building is characterised by an open storey that divides the façades below the centre, by the finely structured design of the exterior and its colour scheme (red louvre boxes, grey parapet elements, light grey concrete), by the accentuated roof structure and by the main entrance situation with the dominant canopy in red, blue and white. Walkways on each floor provide sun protection and easy maintenance of the façade and can be used as escape routes. They are accessible via emergency exit windows; emergency exits are located in the building ceilings. The building is a reinforced concrete construction with an internal core and a curtain wall façade made of storey-high aluminium elements. The office floors are designed for individual office organisation with internal corridors.
